A comment made on the Hispanic website “Against the anti-smoking law”

That’s the way I feel today as well. The smoking restrictions that are dictated to us are depriving us all as citizens of our liberty and violating our God-given inalienable rights.

We are punished when we exercise our right to smoke everywhere possible from our position. Punishing the rights that people have for exercising them and dictating the content of the law is what dictators do instead of democratically elected governments.

But what is right and what is wrong does not only depend on what is being punished, but also on the exercise of your conscience and the same knowledge.

The conquest imposed on people’s liberty and the freedom they once knew has been enacted by the state acting in response to calls from international organisations by means of covenants which is the FCTC, by imitation of what one state does by the other one and by imitation of what the British state legislated first.

However there is one example of a case when you had to go out to smoke, and that was when somebody else was sick inside the same room. Are the British not responsible enough to do that on their own and have to be told by the law?
