The price for a packet of cigarettes has reached $25 USD in the war-torn Gaza Strip, which raises the question while becoming news if that cost is the highest it could get which is the highest in Australia and New Zealand. And yes! $25 USD are the equivalent of $36.76 AUD and cigarettes in Australia and New Zealand costing well above 35 Australian or New Zealand dollars cost as much as they do in the Gaza strip at the time of war and deprivation – an indicative comparison of both levels of civilisation. The war on smoking pursued by Western states leading to the same result as the war in Gaza in terms of those countries proving that all wars are the same! This is what the anti-smoking regime of Canberra and Wellington has accomplished against its people and its citizens. This is how much the state cares about its citizens in Oceania – apparently by putting King and country first and the robbed consumers of tobacco tax and citizens last.
