Nigel Farage, political leader and coordinator of the campaign that led to Britain’s exit from the European Union, is also an advocate of freeing smoking from all or most of the legislative restrictions that suppress it, having founded two political parties, the Independence UKIP Party and the Reform UK Party, formerly known as the Brexit Party, from whose leadership he left, leaving it for politicians younger than him. His position on free smoking is passed on to and followed by these parties only in name superficially and does not urge a more extensive exchange of their members.
What a wonder, then, that an advocate not only of existing restrictions but also of a total ban on smoking, who served as the chairwoman of a mental health charity, was elected vice-president of the first party founded by Nigel Farage of Independence.
Rebecca Jane, who argues that smoking should be completely banned both from the pedestrian way and for its trade and sale, had a verbal debate on television with the chairman of smokers’ rights group FOREST Simon Clark, and has defended her position on another TV show where she received the response that she deserved, that as a conclusion to the discussion the only way that smoking on the pedestrian way could still bother someone is if they put out a cigarette on their clothes!
“UKIP is the only political home for anyone who feels lost today, because we are the only party that truly cares about our people. We are not a party full of career politicians, we do this because we are driven by passion. We should not be afraid to speak up. Free speech is stifled by a select few who employ bizarre stunts, brainwashing, and criticize those who don’t share the same view. The older generation is being silenced, which is the first thing I’m here to stop. Together, we can challenge, learn and educate our future generations for a greater mixed good for all,” wrote Rebecca Jane addressing Independence Party UKIP members through their party’s website.
Rebecca Jane starred in the reality TV show Big Brother and became a recent personality until 2019 and set up a detective bureau because her partner cheated on her before becoming the chairwoman of mental health charity RJ8. She hails from Lancashire, North England. But her previous role also contradicts her extreme view on smoking, since the mentally ill tend more to smoke in order to participate in the social activities from which they get separated. That is, we can enjoy either the cigarette or Rebecca Jane to the exclusion of each other!
