The 10th Conference of Parties on tobacco control, a biennial conference held by the World Health Organisation, pestering smokers and the rest of the world by making life more difficult, has been postponed from last November 2023 to February of the next year.
The worldwide notorious conference which was planned for being held between 20 and 25 November 2023 is now planned for February 5 to 10, fitting in with the even number of the year instead of the odd one which happened after the pandemic of the China Virus. The pretext used for this harmonisation in numbers only is the current security situation in the host Panama City.
The Meeting of the Parties (MOP) to the World Health Organisation’s Framework Convention on Tobacco Control which Holds the Conference of Parties, not so oddly abbreviated to COP-10, will be held right after it from the 12th to the 15th of February. As a consequence, the two shots below have been postponed with the wider picture! In the meantime, it’s Happy New Year and to better things!
