The Queen of Denmark Margrethe has quit smoking at her current age of 83

Queen Margrethe of Denmark quit smoking at the age of 83, following the advice of her doctors before undergoing back surgery last February to avoid post-operative complications. The Queen of Denmark and the autonomous states of Iceland and Greenland smoked more than two packs a day of unfiltered Karelia for 66 years from the age of 17, while previously she smoked Virginia.

“I think the great thing about these cigarettes is that they make everything else tasteless. When I was young I smoked English Virginia cigarettes, but when my father died I realized they were stronger than good” the only Queen in the world today said, commenting and supplying her personal taste on the Greek originals. iefimerida.grQueen Margrethe quits cigarettes – She smoked obsessively unfiltered for 66 years, incredible incidents of audacity – iefimerida.gr

The parents of Queen Margrethe of Denmark also smoked Chesterfield in the case of her father Frederick VI and until the end of her 90s for Queen Ingrid. It was her parents who taught her to smoke at the age of 17 in 1957. According to her memoirs which were published, “My father and mother smoked throughout my childhood and one day they asked me if I wanted a cigarette.” iefimerida.grQueen Margrethe quits cigarettes – She smoked obsessively unfiltered for 66 years, incredible incidents of audacity – iefimerida.gr.
