Civil disobedience as Mark Dolan smokes on GB News live TV programme!

Mark Dolan has taken the courage to smoke on GB News while presenting his programme, Mark Dolan Tonight, on Sunday the 14th of May 2023, a moment that may also go down in history, while describing how a Labour government would deny us our freedoms, like it has done in the past especially with the smoking ban, and referring to a particular member’s intention to ban smoking by gradual incrementation of the minimum age requirement to buy tobacco, according to the bad example set by the otherwise model of New Zealand.

Mark Dolan is setting Wes Streeting right by showing him what banning smoking means and should remain. What Wes Streeting is referring to is forbidding and not banning smoking and there is a difference, exactly what he means and cannot say or is afraid to admit. And that happens because the decision to forbid something or something else does not belong to Wes Streeting instead of society, one that will judge him for claiming it.

The courageous GB News presenter Mark Dolan said that the more you deny his ability to do something the more he will be tempted to try it, drawing a cigarette from a kitsch packet covered in generic packaging as if that came from a state monopoly, and lighting it up within the virtuous context of experimentation and puffing it on-screen.

Mark Dolan must be congratulated for doing the right thing to set an example for the rest of the world to follow, since the same decision which was stolen from him during the past belongs to society that has already made up its mind rather than the state.

In fact, this shouldn’t be news when it is told under normal conditions, it should have been happening every day in the same way on part of people who are free to form their own destiny.

Those who argue that cigarette smoke is smelt by them as well must be well-warned that the act of smoking is not directed against them, and it therefore belongs to the same person only as a decision that could have been their own.

Secondly, that second-hand smoke is not being inhaled rather than smelt by others who are breathing the oxygen and exhaling the hydrogen according to the laws of their organisation. So that only the smoker is harming their own health, not that of anybody around them. The health of somebody else can only be harmed by another person by means of force and not by smoking in society like we are entitled to do and harming their own health with it. Somebody’s health cannot be directly affected by his neighbour through regular social interaction such as smoking. It is time for that many to wake up to reality!
