The lifestyle choices FOREST association has shut down its European division Forest EU because of the suffix to its website not being operable for bodies originating from countries outside the E.U. as happens with Forest after Brexit. This suffix was the .eu domain and the .eu domain can only be registered from within the European Union of which Britain is not still a part.
The European branch of Forest called FOREST EU was opened by Forest in January 2017, months after the referendum and its result for Britain to exit the European Union to serve smokers from mainland Europe to their claims and objectives. However that has been registered under the domain .eu for its website despite that not being possible to resume after the result of the referendum for the website to be able to serve its cause.
The branch was based in Brussels and its leader was Belgian common affairs director Guillieme Perigois. The branch used to frequently run numerous parties and events in Brussels in restaurants and bars and will greatly be missed by smokers all around the world. The website that appears in its place with exactly the same address is a womens’ fashion retail store.
